TJ Studio Architects est. 2014, is a creative team that consists of principal architect, professional designers and CG artists based in Trinidad and Tobago, providing a range of architectural and design services. The firm has been working at different scales with real estate developers as well as private clients and is currently involved in a series of residential and hospitality projects. Each project is approached as a unique opportunity and is a tailor-made solution incorporating the firm's meticulous attention to details, finishes, and materials selection while following ideals of simplicity, coherence, clarity and harmony.
Our Design Process
Stage 1 - Initial Meeting & The Design Brief:
Our initial meeting at the property is to understand in detail your ideas, taste & lifestyle, incl. budgets, time scale and specific requirements. We also look at any potential structural improvements to your home to see if these could increase your enjoyment of the space.

Stage 2 - Initial Design Proposals:
Once a brief and design fee has been agreed, initial design concepts and ideas are developed to gauge your preferences.

Stage 3 - Development Design Proposals:
Once a general approach has been agreed, layout plans are produced which can be developed, over a few more meetings with you, into detailed designs and specifications incorporating budget estimates and project scheduling.
The work involved at this stage provides you with a clear and documented view of what your project will look like, giving you peace of mind that the design is both practical and beautiful.
Stage 4 - Implementation & Project Coordination:
Once all the designs, technical specifications and final costings have been signed off by you, procurement of materials etc can begin. Regular site visits are carried out to coordinate with the building contractors, trades etc and to oversee delivery and installation of items in line with the final design.
